Earlier this week, we had a very enjoyable visit from a group of Year 5 students from Allesley Hall Primary. We visited a number of classrooms so the students could see what it's like to be a Year 7 student in secondary school. We learnt about meteorites and craters in Science, made some yummy scones in Food Technology and made our very own door plaques in Design & Technology. Here's what a few of the students said about the day:
"While I have been here, I have had a wonderful time and hope that I can attend this beautiful school."
"When I was here, I really liked it and I am pleased with my experience today. I will look into coming to this secondary school for Year 7 because it is very pleasant. The teachers and students made me feel very welcome."
"I loved the Science and Technology lessons! The classes were very good and the teachers were nice and helpful. I hope my scones taste nice!"
"I thought today was very well planned and enjoyable. Especially the cooking experience. The experiment in Science was fun and everybody was welcoming."
